Are my files uploaded anywhere?
No. Every tool processes files locally in your browser using WebAssembly. Nothing is sent to a server, which is why it works offline and stays completely private.
Is it really free with no limits?
Yes. Because the work happens on your own device there's no cost to pass on. No watermarks, no accounts, no caps.
How good are the Word/PDF conversions?
Tools marked beta (like PDF→Word and OCR) do the conversion in your browser and preserve text and structure well; very complex layouts may shift slightly. Everything else is full quality.
Which browser should I use?
Any modern browser — Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari. For the largest files, a desktop browser gives you the most memory to work with.
